I'M HERE, YOU'RE HERE, LET'S TALK BOOKS!!

Hello readers of the world!!!
Last night I did just as I said I would, and I read the rest of Tattoo by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I previously said how cute the book was, but it got way cuter at the end. I seriously want to re-read this book, just so I can put myself in their shoes. The book makes you want to have supernatural powers (I mean, as if I already don't...come on....we all do!). They had the power to read minds, the power to see into the future, the power to create fire, and the most awesome and incredibly amazing power to change things into other things. For example I believe that Delia changed gave her friends highlights, made her shoes into rollerblades, and transformed a pair of socks into a purse...just to give you a few reasons why I love this book.

Don't get me wrong though. This book has it's fair share of the dark side. It has points where you're on the edge of your bed/seat/floor? and you're wondering how a cute book can get that dark. But that's what's so great about the book. I loved that it was unpredictable.

I can't wait for the next one, called Fate. I'm going to have to get it soon!!!

Happy Reading!!!

Up All Night!!!

Hello my little book worms!!!! If you're up right now, at 12:39AM, you better be reading ;)
I'm currently reading Tattoo by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I started it about a month ago, but because of school I had to stop reading for a little while (GASSSSPPPP!!! I KNOW!!!)....but I've picked it back up, and I'm almost done with it. It's not a very long book, but it is a very GOOD book!!! It's so cute, yet suspenseful at the same time. The characters are very realistic, and they're relatable. I also love the plot! Here's a description from Barnes and Noble:

Bailey Morgan isn't the type of girl who shows a lot of skin, but somehow, she ends up in a dressing room at the mall with her friend Delia applying a temporary tattoo to her lower back. Never one to suffer fashion doubt, trendsetter Delia knows exactly where she wants her own tattoo: on her stomach, right where her shirt ends—can you say "midriff"? Annabelle, the quiet one, chooses the back of her neck, and tomboy Zo plasters hers on the top of her foot. The tattoos will last for three days, and Delia's sure that with them, the four friends will absolutely kill at the school dance.
Unfortunately, killing is just what someone has in mind, and Bailey, Delia, Annabelle, and Zo are in for the battle of their lives. Along with her tattoo, each girl receives a gift—a supernatural power to help them in their fight. As Bailey's increasingly frightening dreams reveal the nature of their enemy, it becomes clear to the girls that it's up to them to save the world. And if they can get Delia to stop using her newfound power to turn gum wrappers into Prada pumps, they might actually stand a chance.

So if you're into books that involve teenage girls doing teenage things, with super natural powers...this is definitely the book for you! Can't wait to finish the book, I'm definitely going to be up all night reading it!

Ta-ta for now my lovely readers!

About Me

My photo
I am the Book Genie!! I love reading with all of my heart, (I'm a little dramatic sometimes) and it's an obsession I have to live with. New titles on the teen novel shelves makes my heart beat faster. I've read many books, and I've developed a love for all different types of them. I love making websites and animations, but most of all I love making movies. I want to pursue a career in the movie making industry later on in life. I would also love to start writing novels and screenplays. My family is the most important part about me, because they have taught me everything I know. My pets are also important to me, as are all the animals we feed and save.
